A: Eric Rey: We have an ever- increasing presence on the island that gives us more visibility and efficiency in the field, be it in security services, cash management, remote monitoring, alarm intervention or electronic security. Also, we have demonstrated our commitment to professionalism and security by acquiring modern patrol vehicles, secure CIT trucks showcasing the Brink's brand, and new uniforms for the guards. Our customers - the companies, hotels, institutions and residences - are our best " ambassadors". The customer consensus: Brink's is synonymous with professionalism. Q: Is there an increased demand for security services? A: Eric Rey: There has certainly been a surge in the demand for protection from individuals, companies and local authorities. Our customers want personalised security systems in addition to the protection offered by the police force. Customers want concrete and effective results. Simple installations and inefficient security systems are no longer accepted. It's critical that we are attentive and quick to react. Q: What is your next challenge? A: Eric Rey: To thwart any foreseeable challenges, we are striving to find an effective and long- term solution to everyday crime problems with intervention patrols or a proposed CCTV urban project for high- risk areas. It's essential that we modernise our electronic security offer. More than ever, Brink's Mauritius fights crime daily and aims to anticipate tomorrow's crime.
